Our Work

Our work has been guided by two key ideas. 1) There is no change in education without the support of our educators. 2) It is critical teachers are included in the dialogues around the issues most impacting our students. For these reasons, we have worked on a range of projects and initiatives to both empower and invest in the ideas of our teachers. We believe that when educators are included in conversations and supported to act on ideas that best serve their students, we propel movements forward.

Project Portfolio

  • Learning Media and Engagement

Using the power of positive media and storytelling, our goal is to provide educators with media that highlights examples from around the world on how we might take climate action.

  • Clean Infrastructure + Green Career Pathways

It is our goal to advance the work of those supporting schools to invest in clean infrastructure and create green education to employment pipelines. Check out our project with Getting Smart.

  • Professional Learning PBS Education

Working with teacher ambassadors in five states, we worked to create strategic professional learning opportunities and create community partnerships so more educators had access to quality professional learning.

  • Lakota Local School District

We’re working with the professional learning team of Lakota Local to create in-house professional learning opportunities that spark teacher agency and innovation. Using a skills-based, badging model we’re hoping to ensure teachers receive more personalized professional learning where they can make true impact for students.

  • Regenerative Economics for Secondary Schools

We’re working with educators to change the economics education paradigm. We’re building community around regenerative economics and supporting teachers advocating for curriculum reform. From virtual labs to a teacher ambassador program we are creating ways to support our economics teachers.

  • Civics Through Play

Heathy democracies are critical to our students’ future. We believe we can harness the power of play to equip students with the skills they need to be engaged citizens.

  • Nature on the School Board

We’re collaborating with Coconut Thinking to uncover more ways to make nature an integral part of work as educators.

  • Mind, Brain, and Education

We supported the CTTL team with their first ever MBE Academy bridging the gap between research and practice.

Civics Through Play.

The world has a lot of problems. To build the future, we must learn to come together  to find solutions to our most pressing challenges. We’re on a mission to create playful experiences that help students develop the key skills that will empower them to be civically minded adults. Learn how you might use games to bridge the gap between SEL and civic engagement.

Every Teacher a Changemaker.

We work to infuse changemaker programming into professional learning so that every teacher is empowered to bring out the changemaker in every student. Check out our work with Ashoka.

SDGs in the Classroom.

We aim to support teachers and schools working to integrate the SDG narrative into curriculum and pedagogy.
